Nova Sonic processes voice inputs and generates speech with just 1.09 seconds of latency, significantly outperforming OpenAI’s voice models.

With a 4.2% word error rate across multiple languages, Sonic also delivers 46.7% higher accuracy than GPT-4o in noisy, multi-speaker environments.

Reel 1.1 extends video generation to 2 minutes, offering both automated and manual modes for users to create content either shot-by-shot or through single prompts.

Both models are accessible via Amazon Bedrock, with Nova Sonic priced about 80% lower than comparable OpenAI alternatives.
