At Connect 2024, Meta announced several exciting AI innovations, including the Orion AR x AI glasses, Llama 3.2, and new features for Reels and Meta AI, including a Voice mode.

The Orion prototype is lightweight (under 100g) and features advanced voice control and hand tracking, a decade in the making. Llama 3.2 is the company's first major vision model, capable of processing both images and text, available in 11B and 90B parameter versions, along with smaller 1B and 3B models optimized for smartphones and future glasses.

Instagram will soon feature automatic video dubbing and AI-generated content tailored for users. Meta's new Voice Mode allows for voice interactions with Meta AI across Messenger, Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram DMs.
